Ron from Rome: I owe you a ton! You made my trip to Rome and Italy in general a whole lot easier. All the tips you gave worked, including the timing at the Vatican (went at ~1330, waited ~35 mins to get in…wrote postcards during the wait), exiting the Sistine Chapel (I got straight into the line for the climb to the cupola and when I climbed down, it dropped me straight into St. Peter’s), and buying the combo ticket at Palatine Hill which got me into the forum as well, then skipping the huge line at the Colosseo. It was quite magical. The explanation of the train system was great and I had no difficulties navigating through.
I just wanted to say thank you! I only had a few days in Rome so these tips really helped out.
