Today we took Ron’s advice about the Vatican Museum and did not buy the “Skip the Line” Tickets online or from the myriad of street sellers out the front of the Vatican. We did exactly as Ron said, we got there at about 11.30am, walked straight up to the security check, then straight up to the ticket booth, then straight in!!! NO QUEUING at all. After the Sistine Chape we took Ron’s advice about the detour and fell in with a tour group who got us around the massive queue to get into St Peters. AWESOME. Saved us a lot of time and headaches. THANKS RON!!!!
We just got back from a great stay in Rome. Forget the old saying “When in Rome do as the Romans do”. For us it was “When in Rome do as Ron blogged”. Fantastic tips. Thank you lots for your posts !
We took a tour with you in May of 2010 and I still talk about how great you were to anyone going to Rome and recomend your site. I hope to go back someday to visit or hopefully live. Thanks again you were awesome!!
