Flooding in Rome Causes Major Disruptions

Flood thumbnail Events in ItalyOn Thursday, October 20 we entered one of the largest traffic jams in Rome history. The reason – a torrential rain storm that dropped 3 inches of rain in less than 5 hours. The ancient city, especially the northwest section, was overwhelmed. Good news – there’s plenty to see – and it’s going to cost you far less! The Ministry for Arts and Culture, also known as MiBAC, has recently announced some exciting news. The are two teams in Rome, AS Roma and SS Lazio. AS Roma is regarded as the “city team” and Lazio is the regional team. Those are the “pleasant” names. 17th Annual Rome Marathon

Annual Puccini Opera Festival
