Metro travel time: Approx. 25+ minutes depending on time of day - and no construction on the metro line. One hour at the site would probably give you 30+ minutes looking at the Aqueduct. It's about a 15 minute from the metro station to the primary aqeuducts. Most folks take a lunch and picnic in the area.

Hello!!

I've been looking through your great web site. I want to visit the Roman aquaducts and have your information on getting there via metro. Can you please tell me the length of trip it will be from the Spagna metro to the Giulio Agricola stop?

Also, is an hour sufficient for the area?
Thank you very much!

Lucia, it's about an 8-10 minute walk from Track 25 - where the Leonardo Express parks - to the Metro stations. There is plenty of signage to guide you.

We plan to take the express from FCO to termini station. If we need to transfer to Metro A or B, how long is the walk take? Is the metro far away from the Express station?

On the metro, the Roma Pass card is held over the sensor ABOVE where you insert a regular ATAC metro ticket.
