I'm leaving in two days, though. Thanks! Niki *****REPLY****** Pompeii can be done in a day. Many folks take an all-day bus trip with a guide to Pompeii. Others go alone, and ride the train to Naples Centrale, then switch to the local train (like a metro) to head over to Pompeii. It’s easy, but a little time consuming going back and forth. At Napoli Centrale, you have to go downstairs to catch the local train and these ARE NOT listed on the Trenitalia site as they are not part of the national network. The Pompeii train station is next to the Ruins so it’s an easy transition. Good Luck! I’d like to know the answer to Jackie’s Pompeii question! I’m leaving in two days, though. Thanks! Niki
